Who We Are

ERIMIS is an independent unit  and private practice  founded in 2014 by  Dana Rem, offering  services of psychological counseling, system  family therapy, organizational coaching, and  performig migration research.

We are dedicated to supporting the well-being of  migrants,  international students, expats, international experts, and members of the Romanian diaspora in the Netherlands.

We use a transcultural approach, grounded in expertise and deep understanding, to address the unique challenges faced by these communities.

Our Mission

ERIMIS promotes autonomous development and  independent thinking and it works as a unit of critical reflexive practices, psychological counselling -, systemic and   collaborative therapeutic intervention, with main focus on the strategies of copying ,migrants, international students, expats  and members of the Romanian diaspora living in The Netherlands  develop, in their efforts of accommodation to their  new country of residence.

ERIMIS  exists to promote well-being and strive to create an inclusive climate and provide essential psychological and therapeutic support to those navigating the complexities of cultural adaptation and accommodation.

We envision a world where migrants, expats, and international communities feel empowered, included, and supported through the challenges of relocation and cultural accomodation.

Our Units

ERIMIS operates through two key units that work in tandem to provide comprehensive services to our target groups:

  1. ERIMIS Family Therapy Systemic Practice (ERIMIS FTSP)
    • An independent private practice offering psychological counseling, systemic therapeutic intervention,  organizational coaching & consulting for individuals, families, and professionals.
  2. ERIMIS Migration Research Unit( ERIMIS Mig Research)
    • A dedicated migration research unit that studies the challenges faced by migrants and expats, with a focus on improving their accommodation and well-being through research-driven solutions.

Our Target Group

ERIMIS is committed to serving the following populations:

  • Expats, Knowledge and Labor  Migrants, International Students: Individuals living abroad or  residing in the Netherlands who experience mental health issues, cultural adaptation challenges, or difficulties in their workplaces or broader societal integration.
  • Families, Couples and Individual members of expat communities: Members of expat communities and knowledge migrants who face complex adjustments to family dynamics and personal relationships in a new environment. These groups often need psychological support to effectively navigate these transitions.
