1.2. Registration and Therapeutic Process

1.2.1. Appointment Scheduling:
To schedule an appointment, the Client shall submit his request via  “Book Now”  form available on the ERIMIS Family Therapy and Systemic Practice website.

1.2.2. Therapist Contact:
Upon receipt of the Client’s request, the therapist will contact the Client via email to schedule an initial consult( intake) session, which will be conducted via Zoom.

1.2.3. Registration Form Completion:
The  client will be provided with a registration form, which must be completed and returned to the therapist prior to the initial consult (intake) session.

1.2.4. Complimentary Intake Sessions:
Intake sessions are provided free of charge.

1.2.5. Agreement to Terms:
By booking an intake session, the Client confirm that they have read and agree to the terms, policies, and conditions of ERIMIS Family Therapy and Systemic Practice.

1.2.6. Authorization Requirement:
If the Client does not agree to the terms outlined herein, they are not authorized to utilize the services of ERIMIS Family Therapy and Systemic Practice.


1.3. Intake

1.3.1. Duration:
The intake session shall last 60 minutes for Individual Therapy and Counseling, and 90 minutes for Couples and Family Therapy.

1.3.2. Complaints Assessment:
During the  initial consult (intake) session, the therapist will gather comprehensive information about the Client’s concerns and the impact of these issues on their daily life.

1.3.3. Expertise Matching:
The therapist will assess whether the expertise offered by ERIMIS Family Therapy and Systemic Practice aligns with the Client’s needs and determine the suitability for a continued therapeutic relationship.

1.3.4. Client Consent:
The Client will have the opportunity to reflect on whether they wish to proceed with therapy and will share their consent with the therapist.

1.3.5. Transition to Contracting:
If both the expertise offered by the therapist and the Client’s consent are aligned, the therapeutic process will move to the contracting stage.


1.4. Contracting and Commencement of Therapy

1.4.1. Therapeutic Plan and Goals:
Following the Client’s consent and based on the information gathered during the initial consult ( intake) phase, the therapist will outline a therapeutic plan that aligns with the Client’s assessed needs and submit it for the Client’s review.

1.4.2. Contract Details:
The contract shall detail the type of therapy (individual, couples, family, or blended sessions), therapeutic goals, techniques, session duration and frequency, communication protocols, fees and family accommodation rules (if applicable).

1.4.3. Client Review and Consent:
The therapeutic plan will be provided to the Client, requiring their formal consent and agreement.

1.4.4. Needs Assessment Fee:
The needs assessment, which evaluates the Client’s specific requirements and matches them with the appropriate therapeutic plan, will be charged at the standard fee per service, as  outlined under the fees section.

1.4.5. Commencement of Therapy Sessions:
Therapy sessions shall commence upon receipt of the signed contract, signifying the Client’s commitment to the therapeutic process.

1.4.6. Binding Agreement:
The signed contract shall serve as a binding agreement, establishing the Client’s consent to initiate therapy under the terms outlined.


1.5. Session Frequency and Duration

1.5.1. Initial therapy typically consists of six (6) up to eight (8) sessions, scheduled at intervals of one (1) to two (2) weeks, with session frequency potentially decreasing as the situation stabilizes.
1.5.2. Session lengths vary depending on the type of therapeutic intervention (  individual, couples, family therapy) and shall range from sixty (60) to ninety (90) minutes.
1.5.3. The duration and frequency of sessions will be agreed upon during the initial phase(intake)  of therapy.
1.5.4. The necessity for ongoing therapy shall be reviewed periodically, with adjustments made based on the Client’s needs.


 1.6. Evaluation and Re-Contracting

1.6.1. Client feedback shall be solicited at the conclusion of each session to ensure the efficacy of the therapy.
1.6.2. By the end of each  contracted package (6 up to 8 sessions) – an evaluation of the Client’s treatment goals shall be conducted to monitor progress, adjust or introduce new goals as necessary, and assess the need for further evaluation based on the Client’s progression.


1.7. Ethical considerations
1.7.1. ERIMIS  Family Therapy and Systemic Practice  is committed to providing high-quality care, adhering to professional standards and ethical practices.
1.7.2. The Client shall be treated with respect and dignity, with due consideration for their individual and cultural attributes.
1.7.3. ERIMIS Family Therapy and Systemic Practice  promotes inclusivity and does not engage in discrimination based on race, ethnicity, gender, age, religion, political beliefs, or sexual orientation.


1.8. Client Obligations
1.8.1. The Client is responsible for providing accurate and comprehensive information essential for the effective delivery of therapy.
1.8.2. The Client must promptly inform the therapist of any changes or developments in their circumstances that may influence the therapeutic process.
1.8.3. The Client’s active cooperation, including consistent attendance at scheduled sessions and engagement in therapeutic activities, is vital to the success of the therapy.

1.9. Safety
1.9.1. ERIMIS Family Therapy and Systemic Practice strives to maintain a safe therapeutic environment.
1.9.2. Clients must not attend sessions under the influence of substances.
1.9.3. In the event of aggressive behavior, the session will be immediately terminated, and the contract may be unilaterally suspended by the service provider.
